Lace Doily Background

What you will need:

VM Distortion - HERE

Simple Filter - HERE

1.  Make a 100 x 100 transparent square

 2.  Flood fill with a light color, in this example I used #DCC6C6.  You want to keep it light as it will turn darker.

 3.  Effects - texture - blind settings:  width 5, opacity 22, color:  black.  Light from left/top ticked - apply.

4.  Effects - texture - mosaic antique.  Settings are: 

• Number of Columns: 50

• Number of Rows: 50

• Symmetric ticked

• Tile Opacity 25

• Grout Width 6

• Group Opacity: 75

5.  Effects - texture - mosaic antique.   Settings  are:

• Number of Columns:  50

• Number of Rows:  50

• Symmetric ticked

• Tile Opacity 25

• Grout Width 6

• Group Opacity 75

 6.  Effects - Plug Ins - VM Distortion - Kaleidoscope

• Settings:  Divisions 128  

• Rotation: 128   Hue 0
